Enhance anti-interference ability
The double-shielded structure is generally composed of an aluminum foil shield (FTP) and a metal braided mesh shield (SFTP). These two shielding structures can respectively deal with different types of interference:
Aluminum foil shielding can effectively resist high-frequency electromagnetic radiation interference, such as radiation from surrounding wireless signals and high-frequency electrical appliances
Metal braided mesh shielding can resist low-frequency electromagnetic interference as well as external physical signal interference, such as crosstalk between adjacent cables
This dual structure has a stronger anti-interference range and effect than the single-shielded Category 5 network cable
Ensure the quality and speed of transmission
The basic transmission bandwidth of Category 5 network cables is 100MHz, and they can support up to 1000BASE-T gigabit network transmission. The double-shielded structure can reduce signal attenuation and packet loss caused by interference, allowing the network cables to stably achieve this transmission speed over a longer transmission distance (up to 100 meters). Avoid slow Internet speed and network lag caused by interference

Applicable to complex usage environments
It is more suitable for use in environments with strong interference, such as:
The industrial environment is surrounded by a large number of large-scale electromechanical equipment
The computer room environment is densely equipped with a large number of servers, switches and other devices
Scenarios where strong current and weak current lines are mixed in wiring, such as running in the same wiring trough with 220V power supply lines
If the environment where you need to lay network cables has many interference sources, Category 5 double-shielded network cables would be a more suitable choice than unshielded or single-shielded Category 5 network cables.
