The interrelationship between industrial robots and network cables
Network cables (mainly industrial Ethernet cables) are the core transmission medium for industrial robot communication networking, responsible for data interaction among robot control cabinets, servo motors, vision cameras, PLCs, upper computers, and other equipment on the production line. They are the hardware foundation for robots to achieve linkage, control, data collection, and debugging. Ordinary household network cables cannot meet the requirements of industrial scenarios. They mostly use Category 5e, Category 6 industrial shielded network cables, Profinet, and EtherCAT dedicated industrial network cables.
