1. Core Perspective (Must-see, Avoiding Misordered Wire Order)
Hold the crystal head with the metal tab facing upwards and the plastic clip facing downwards. Insert the network cable from the bottom, counting the 1–8 core wires from left to right as the standard order perspective. For daily household and engineering wiring, the T568B standard is used, which has the strongest universality and no compatibility issues.

4. Complete Wire Insertion Operation Steps
1. Strip the Wire: Use a wire stripper to strip about 2cm of the outer skin of the network cable, be careful not to scratch the insulation layer of the 8 core wires inside, remove the internal cotton thread and plastic frame.
2. Straighten the Wire: Straighten and smooth all 8 twisted wire cores, arrange them in the T568B standard sequence, closely arranged without crossing or misalignment.
3. Cut the Wire: Align the arranged wire cores, cut the wire ends smoothly, retain about 1.2cm length (just enough to reach the front end of the crystal head).
4. Insert the Wire: Keep the crystal head metal tab facing upwards, insert the 8 wire cores evenly and completely into the bottom, confirm that each wire is tightly pressed at the front end without loosening.
5. Press the Wire: Put the crystal head into the corresponding slot of the wire stripper, press firmly to the bottom, ensure that the metal pin penetrates the wire core insulation layer, contacts the copper wire, and the outer skin is simultaneously pressed into the crystal head slot for fixation.
5. Key Wiring Rules
- Straight-through Wire (Most Common): Both ends of the network cable use T568B, used for computer ↔ router, router ↔ switch, switch ↔ monitoring and most other scenarios.
- Crossed Wire (Rarely Used): One end T568A, one end T568B, only used for old-fashioned devices direct connection (computer ↔ computer), modern devices automatically identify, no need to use.
- All network cables in the same network must have the same wire order, do not mix A and B standards, to avoid network lag, disconnection, and packet loss.
